Usage:

Topically used medium-effective corticosteroids, which have anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive effects. Used in patients with skin diseases to relieve inflammation and itching, especially those who respond to cortisone.

production method:

21-acetoxy-17-hydroxy-16α-methylpregnantrol-1,4,9(11)-triene-3,20-dione (Ⅰ) was acylated with furoyl chloride, and then acylated in aqueous methanol , the acetyl group is removed under the action of perchloric acid to obtain compound (III). (III) Methanesulfonyl is then chlorinated with lithium chloride in dimethylformamide to obtain compound (IV). Then, the double bond at positions 9 and 1l is epoxidized, and then reacted with hydrochloric acid to open the ring to obtain mometasone furoate.
